What to Do in Marrakech in One Week?
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – Airport Transfer
Welcome to Morocco!
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, an Eco Desert Morocco driver will meet you and provide a private transfer to your hotel or riad.
After check-in, you can relax after your flight. Depending on your arrival time, you can also take your first walk around the Medina or visit Jemaa el-Fna Square to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Marrakech.
Overnight: Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech Guided City Tour
After breakfast, meet your licensed local guide and start a guided walking tour of Marrakech.
Today is dedicated to discovering the history, culture, architecture, and local life of the Red City. Walk through the narrow streets of the old Medina and visit some of Marrakech’s most important attractions.
Depending on opening times and your interests, your visit can include the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Jemaa el-Fna Square, and the traditional souks.
Your guide will also take you through local markets, artisan areas, and small streets where you can see how people live and work inside the Medina.
You can also visit the Majorelle Garden if you wish. Advance tickets are recommended.
After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore Marrakech at your own pace.

Day 3: Private Day Trip from Marrakech to Essaouira
After breakfast, your Eco Desert Morocco driver will pick you up for a private day trip to Essaouira, a beautiful coastal city on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast.
On the way, travel through countryside landscapes and areas known for their argan trees. You can stop at a local argan cooperative to learn how traditional argan oil products are made.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, enjoy free time to discover the UNESCO-listed Medina, walk around the old city walls and fishing port, explore local shops, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the city.
For lunch, you can try fresh fish or traditional Moroccan food at a local restaurant.
You will also have time to walk along Essaouira Beach, famous for its wind, surfing, and water sports.
In the afternoon, meet your driver and return to Marrakech.

Day 4: Ourika Valley & Atlas Mountains Day Trip
After breakfast, leave Marrakech for a beautiful day in the Ourika Valley, located in the Atlas Mountains.
The journey takes you through mountain landscapes, traditional Amazigh villages, rivers, agricultural areas, and small local communities.
Continue to Setti Fatma, where you can take a guided walk toward the waterfalls. The hike can be adapted depending on your fitness level and how much walking you would like to do.
After the walk, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, with many restaurants located beside the Ourika River.
There will also be opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy panoramic views before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 5: Moroccan Cooking Class & Agafay Desert Experience
Today combines Moroccan food and desert landscapes.
Start with a Moroccan cooking experience. Depending on the cooking class, you may first visit a traditional market to discover fresh vegetables, herbs, spices, and other ingredients used in Moroccan cuisine.
With the help of a local cook, learn how to prepare traditional dishes such as tagine, Moroccan salads, couscous, or traditional bread. After cooking, sit down and enjoy the meal you have prepared.
Later in the afternoon, your Eco Desert Morocco driver will take you to the Agafay Desert, located outside Marrakech.
Agafay is a rocky desert rather than a sand-dune Sahara, but it offers beautiful open landscapes and views toward the Atlas Mountains.
Enjoy the sunset and choose from optional activities such as a camel ride or ATV/quad experience. A camel-free experience is also available.
You can also choose to stay for dinner at a desert camp, sometimes accompanied by traditional music and entertainment, before returning to Marrakech.

Day 6: Traditional Moroccan Hammam & Spa – Free Time in Marrakech
After several days of sightseeing and activities, today is designed to be more relaxing.
Experience a traditional Moroccan Hammam & Spa, an important part of Moroccan culture. A Hammam is not only a place for washing and body care but also a traditional space for relaxation.
Depending on the package you choose, your experience can include a traditional hammam, black soap treatment, body scrub, massage, and other spa treatments.
Eco Desert Morocco can arrange your transportation to and from the Hammam according to your appointment time.
The rest of the day is free. You can return to the souks for shopping, enjoy a rooftop café, visit a garden, or simply relax at your riad.

Day 7: Free Time & Marrakech Airport Transfer
Enjoy your final breakfast and some free time in Marrakech, depending on your flight departure time.
You can use your last hours for shopping, walking around the Medina, enjoying Moroccan tea, or simply relaxing at your accommodation.
At the agreed time, your Eco Desert Morocco private driver will pick you up and transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport.
