Day 1: Arrival in Rabat – City Tour & Overnight:
Welcome to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel or riad. Depending on your arrival time, you will begin exploring this peaceful and elegant city. Visit Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, then walk through the charming Kasbah of the Udayas with beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean. You can also stroll through the old medina and enjoy your first introduction to Moroccan culture. Overnight stay in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
After breakfast, travel toward Fes. On the way, stop at Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, where you can walk among ancient columns, arches, and mosaics. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to visit Bab Mansour Gate and explore the old medina. In the afternoon, drive to Fes and check into your traditional riad inside the medina. Overnight in Fes.
Day 3: Fes Guided City Tour
Today you will explore Fes with a local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gates and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), then walk through the old medina of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with narrow streets and traditional markets. Discover Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world, and see the famous leather tanneries and artisan workshops. Return to your riad in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Ziz Valley → Sahara Desert
After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Sahara Desert. Day 7: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
