ITINERARY: 3 Days Sahara desert tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi Sand dunes.
Ouarzazate desert tour, 3 days 2 nights to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi golden sand dunes, exploring the beautiful green Valleys of palm trees, trekking tour in Todra gorges, Camel riding experience, Overnight in luxury Berber tent, crossing the impressive Atlas Mountains…). This unique 3 days desert tour from Ouarzazate will takes you to one of the famous golden sand dunes in Morocco.
DAY 1 : OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – ROSE VALLEY – DADES GORGES – TODRA GORGES:
In the morning, starting the best 3 days tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga desert, towards Skoura where we’ll have a short visit to the Amredhyle Kasbah which is one of the wonders of the southern thousand kasbahs”. We will continue our journey through Rose Valley where we will cross 50km off-road on the Valley track to visit Ait Youl Kasbah. We will head to Dades Gorges where we will have lunch via Boulmane, Afterwards, we will drive to Todra Gorges via Tinghir with its fabulous views.
Dinner and night in a hotel in the middle of the Gorges.
DAY 2: TODRA GORGES – TINJDAD – TOUROUG – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT:
After breakfast, we will drive to Tinjdad via Tinghir palm plantations, lunch before crossing Touroug Palm Plantations reaching Erfoud town includes a visit to its local fossil craft workshop. We will continue our Ouarzazate desert tour to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi which are the dunes of Merzouga. We will change from our vehicle to camels, where you’ll be taken on a camel ride in the desert to enjoy the sunset on the dunes, then continue to the Berber tents where we will have dinner and night in the heart of the dunes.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – ALNIF – TAZARINE – DRAA VALLEY – AGDZ – OUARZAZATE:
Wake up early in the morning, for the sunrise before breakfast time, and depart towards the palm plantation of Tafilalet passing Rissani, which is the old Alaouite Sahara capital of the ancient Alaouite Sultans. Continue the last day by driving to AlniJf, where will stop for lunch, then Tazarine, Tansikht, and Nkob Oasis.
We will end our 3 days desert tour at Ouarzazate by taking the road via Draa valley and Berber village of Agdz in Ait Saoun Pass at 1660m altitude.
