4 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech is a private trip combining adventure in the Sahara desert and the charm of the two oldest Morocco Imperial cities, cross the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, overnight in luxury Berber tent, visit gorges and kasbahs. Eco desert Morocco team have created this itinerary to take you out into the magic of the Sahara desert.

Day 1:  FES TO MARRAKECH DESERT TOUR – MIDELT – MERZOUGA DESERT:

Today we have a full travel day through the diverse landscapes that make Morocco so unique. Pass through the cedar and pine forests, keeping an eye out for Barbary apes. Pass over the Middle Atlas Mountains through the pre-dessert countryside with its deep gorges filled with a splendid oasis of green palm groves, finally arriving at the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. We spend the night in a desert auberge ( hotel), located right on the edge of the dunes. Here we will have dinner local-style and spend the night. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 2: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION:

Today we explore Merzouga desert and the adventure tour includes the visit of Khamlia village, famous for desert music Gnawa. We may visit the museum of cars, a local museum in Hassi Labiad. During this day we may rent quad (buggies) to explore the desert in an adventurous way. Later today we meet Nomad people living in the Sahara desert. We will sleep in the Merzouga desert camp, in a desert tent.

Day 3: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – ROSE VALLEY – OUARZAZATE:

Departure  to Ouarzazate via Rissani, the origin of the Alawi dynasty, the souk, and numerous kasbah. Then we will follow the road to Todra gorges for lunch. Then continue our 4 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech through the beautiful Dades valley and rose valley. In the evening arrive to Ouarzazate, where we enjoy a delicious dinner and have a rest.

Day 4:  OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH:

Before starting toward Marrakech, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah, Cenima Atlas studio, the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where many famous Hollywood movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia … etc.. have been filmed.
