Day 1: Arrival in Rabat.

First day of Private Morocco tour from Rabat / 13 Days. Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival in Rabat, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or explore Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, known for its beautiful coastal views and historic sites like the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat to Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains. On the way, you’ll pass through beautiful landscapes, including forests and small villages. Once in Chefchaouen, enjoy a relaxed afternoon wandering through its charming blue-painted streets, exploring the medina, and admiring the unique architecture. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes.

After breakfast, depart for Fes, stopping first at Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins. You’ll have time to explore the ancient mosaics, arches, and columns. Afterward, continue to Meknes, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its impressive gates and historical sites. After a short visit, drive on to Fes for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Fes Guided Tour.

Today, enjoy a full day exploring the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Your guided tour will take you through Fes el-Bali (Old Fes), with its labyrinth-like streets, historic madrasas, and the famous University of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest university in the world. You will also visit the Chouara Tannery, where traditional leatherwork is made. Overnight in Fes.

Day 5: Fes to Sahara Desert (Merzouga).

After breakfast, start your journey toward the Sahara Desert. You’ll pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops in the charming towns of Ifrane (known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”) and Azrou, where you can see the famous cedar forests and perhaps spot Barbary macaque monkeys. Continue through the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga, where you’ll begin your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a magical sunset. Overnight in a traditional desert camp under the stars.

Day 6: Exploring the Sahara Desert.

Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel trek back to Merzouga. After breakfast, you’ll have the day to explore the surrounding desert. Visit the nearby village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music, and learn about the nomadic lifestyle of the local Berbers. You may also visit the fossil-filled mines or take an optional 4×4 tour. Overnight at a desert hotel or camp.

Day 7: Sahara Desert to Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, leave the desert and head toward Ouarzazate, traveling along the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs. Stop at the Todra Gorge, famous for its towering rock cliffs, where you can take a short hike or just enjoy the scenery. Continue through the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations, before arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and a popular filming location for many Hollywood movies. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 8: Ouarzazate to Agadir.

Today, you’ll visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional mudbrick ksar (fortified village) that has been used as a backdrop for many films. Afterward, continue your journey to Agadir, a modern coastal city known for its wide sandy beaches and lively atmosphere. Spend the evening relaxing by the beach. Overnight in Agadir.

Day 9: Agadir to Essaouira.

After breakfast, depart for the charming seaside town of Essaouira. On the way, you may spot the famous goats in the argan trees. Once in Essaouira, take a guided tour of this laid-back town, known for its fishing port, fortified medina, and beautiful beaches. Enjoy fresh seafood by the port and wander through the narrow streets filled with local art and handicrafts. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 10: Essaouira to Marrakech.

In the morning, enjoy some free time in Essaouira before departing for Marrakech. On the way, you’ll pass through more argan tree forests and cooperatives where local women produce argan oil. Once you arrive in Marrakech, you can enjoy an evening exploring the famous Jamaa el Fna square, known for its lively atmosphere with snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 11: Marrakech Guided Tour.

Today, you’ll explore the vibrant city of Marrakech with a guided tour. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens. Wander through the bustling souks of the medina, where you can shop for traditional Moroccan goods, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Jamaa el Fna square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 12: Marrakech to Casablanca.

After breakfast, depart for Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and take a stroll along the Corniche, a lively area by the Atlantic coast. Depending on your time, you may also explore other parts of the city, such as the Habous Quarter or the Royal Palace. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 13: Casablanca to Rabat Airport.
