Day 1: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – SAHARA DESERT:

First day of our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga desert tour. We pass the Atlas mountains at Ifrane called as “Switzerland of Morocco”. We continue to Midelt, famous for its mineral products. Then we drive towards the Merzouga desert passing Erfoud, and Rissani. While we reach Merzouga desert  our first night will be in the Riad with Dinner and breakfast included. This is the best private trip from Fes to Merzouga desert, and can be modified depends on your requirements.

Day 2: SAHARA DESERT EXCURSION:

The unique day of 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. After breakfast, you will start your explorative journey of Erg Chebbi desert, visiting the village of the blacks, originally slaves from Sudan to experience their music and lifestyle.

Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations, including flamingos. You may also like to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities.

In the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you will spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night.

Day 3: SAHARA – OUARZAZATE  – MARRAKECH:

Early wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the highest dunes of Erg Chebbi desert, afterward, you will have breakfast in the camp, pack, and go back either on camels or by 4×4 leaving the dunes behind. Back on the asphalt roads, you will drive to Marrakech through Alnif, Tazarine, Draa valley, Agdez, and Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, we will have free time for lunch and a photo stop in front of the famous Taourirt Kasbah. Afterward, we will continue to Marrakech, where your Merzouga desert experience ends. Crossing again the Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages between Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Drop off at your accommodation. The end of our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech.
