Your journey begins with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views and a chance to see traditional Berber villages. You’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient kasbah famous for its history and use in movies. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco, before heading to the Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s largest palm tree oasis. In the desert, enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chigaga. Experience a traditional Berber camp, where you’ll enjoy local food, music, and a night under the stars in a cozy tent. This tour is perfect for those who want to explore Morocco’s natural beauty, experience Berber culture, and enjoy the magic of the Sahara Desert.
DAY 1: TRIP FROM MARRAKESH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE:
4 days Marrakech desert journey to Erg Chigaga through the Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking mountain views. Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a picturesque Berber village featured in Hollywood films. Explore its charming alleys and continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” Walk its streets or tour the film studios before an overnight stay in a hotel.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA – ERG CHIGAGA DESERT.
After breakfast, drive through the Draa Valley, passing Berber villages like Agdez, known for its mudbrick kasbahs. Continue to Zagora, then head to the Erg Chigaga Desert. Enjoy a camel ride to your Berber camp, where you’ll have a traditional Moroccan dinner and sleep under the stars or in a comfortable tent.
DAY 3: CHIGAGA DESERT – FOUM ZGUID – OUARZAZATE.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert, followed by a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Then, drive through the dry lake of Iriqui, known for its unique desert plants, before reaching Foum Zguid. Continue to Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios and rich culture. Enjoy a walk through the city or visit the studios before overnight stay at a hotel.
DAY 4 : OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH:
